Bruising and swelling are the most common side effects. If you know you bruise easily you can take arnica tablets or tea 3 days prior to your appointment. Icing frequently throughout the day will help with swelling. It will take about a week for your lips to settle. Please be mindful about making plans after your filler appointment because you will be swollen while your lips settle.

This depends on the placement of filler but most fillers will last anywhere from 6 months to a year. Staying hydrated and healthy will enhance and make your results last.

The area will be cleaned and a topical anesthetic will be used to numb the area prior to injecting. The filler also contains lidocaine which is an anesthetic to help minimize discomfort during the treatment. The pain is minimal but can vary from person to person.
